Hand crafted quality bamboo fences and bamboo gates for your japanese garden.  Bamboo fences create a dramatic backdrop, help unify space and set the mood in japanese gardens. In japanese gardens, bamboo fences are very popular to create mood, enclose, hide unsightly elements, partition and help unify space. There are three basic types of japanese fences; open gates and fences, screening fences and sleeve fences. Bamboo is a natural resource just like wood, it is very durable and strong and just like wood it must be maintained. Bamboo should be treated just as you would any of your outdoor wood products. Because bamboo is a natural source, it will develop cracks and weather over time just like wood does and is dependant on your climate. We suggest to apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane to all bamboo fences and all bamboo items as needed depending on your climate to repel water and help retain the appearance. Low Koetsu-gaki Wing Fence 
The koetsu-gaki or bamboo wing fence is one of the most well known and popular japanese fences. It is used to create architecture, define space and perfect to conceal unsightly areas. Wing fences are usually set next to a building or wall and protrudes out into the garden.  42"h x 42"w

Tokusa Low Panel
This beautiful panel can be used as a gate or fence. It is made of bamboo with wood details on the top, bottom, center supports and sides. One side of the panel looks like the picture to the left. The other side has the wood exposed without the horizontal center slat. (see picture below next to the large pot with the fence roof). Matches beautifully with the BAMA13 shown below.

Tokusa Tall Panel
